Multimod Construction is a Los Angeles-based general contracting and development company serving Los Angeles County and surrounding counties. We specialize in residential, multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, ADU, and public work projects, providing comprehensive services from early planning, permitting, and value engineering through construction and project completion.
Multimod was founded by Alex Fara and Robert Modir, each bringing more than 30 years of construction and building experience throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. With backgrounds in structural and electrical engineering and as general contractors by trade, Robert and Alex bring extensive experience in project planning, construction management, field operations, and overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion.
Multimod has continued to grow with the addition of Aram Modir. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Real Estate Development and previous experience in project management, Aram brings a development-focused perspective to the company, working alongside Robert and Alex across preconstruction, development, project coordination, and construction.
Multimod specializes in complex ground-up construction and development, including steep hillside construction, unimproved land development, and projects requiring extensive coordination between design, engineering, permitting, and field execution. Our value engineering approach begins early in the development process, allowing us to identify practical construction solutions, control costs, improve constructability, and maximize project value without compromising design or long-term objectives.
Our approach is built around understanding the entire development and construction process, not just what happens in the field. We work closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and local agencies to navigate permitting and city approvals, coordinate construction, and move challenging projects efficiently from concept to completion.
